With the current COVID-19 pandemic still active in California, Governor Newsome has mandated that any school district in a county that is on the monitoring list is required to begin the school year Distance Learning, and must remain in Distance Learning until that County has been off the monitoring list for 14 consecutive days. Attention Sequoia Union Elementary School Parents and Families: This Bulletin refers to the reopening of our school. This past Friday, Governor Newsome held a press conference where he announced that any School District located in a County that is on the COVID-19 case monitoring list will have to begin the school year online through Distance Learning.
The Governing Board will be discussing and approving plans for returning to school this fall at their meeting on July 15, at 6pm.
